Hello world — why this site exists

I built this site so I have one place for the two things I keep tangling together: the polished engineering work that recruiters should see, and the raw week-to-week log of what I’m actually building.

The rule I’m holding myself to: /projects is engineering-only. Something belongs there if it demonstrates judgment worth a recruiter’s time. Everything else — build progress, training, life — goes in /log and gets sorted by date, not by section. Tags do the filtering.

More entries once I’ve caught up on the last month of work. For now, this is the seed.
